1 In the church at Antioch the following were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 While they were worshipping the Lord and keeping a fast, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’
3 Then after fasting and prayer they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
4 Sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there set sail for Cyprus.

6 They travelled through Phrygia and the Galatian country, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.
7 When they reached Mysia they tried to go into Bithynia, but as the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them, they bypassed Mysia and came down to Troas.
