Bíblia (NT-Luke 9:26-36) 26 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of that person the Son of man will be ashamed when he comes in his own glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.
27 Amen I say to you,
there are some of those standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.’
28 Now about eight days after these sayings, taking Peter, John and James with him he went up the mountain to pray.
29 And it happened that, as he was praying, the aspect of his face was changed and his clothing became dazzling white.
30 And suddenly there were two men talking to him; they were Moses and Elijah
31
appearing in glory, and they were speaking of his departure which he was to accomplish in Jerusalem.
32 Peter and his companions were heavy with sleep, but when they were fully awake
they saw his glory and the two men standing with him.
33 As these were leaving him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘Master, it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah,’ not knowing what he was saying.
34 While he was saying this, a cloud came and covered them with shadow; and as they went into the cloud the disciples were afraid.
35 And a voice came from the cloud saying, ‘This is my Son, the Chosen One. Listen to him.’
36 And after the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. They themselves kept silence and, in those days, told no one what they had seen.
Bíblia (NT-2Peter 1:16-18)16 When we told you about the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were not slavishly repeating cleverly invented myths;f no,
we had witnessed his majesty with our own eyes.
17 He received honour and glory from God the Father, when a voice came to him from the
transcendent glory, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved, in whom I am well pleased.’
18
We ourselves heard this voice from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.
