Tragédia (a origem das tragédias, desgraças, catástrofes, tentação)

Bíblia (NT-Romans 1:18-32)

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against the ungodliness and injustice of those who by their injustice suppress the truth.
19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, since God has made it plain to them:
20 ever since the creation of the world, what is invisible about him, his eternal power and divinity, has been glimpsed through the understanding of what he has made. So they have no excuse,
21 for though they knew God, they did not honour him as God or give thanks to him, but their reflections became futile and their uncomprehending minds were darkened.
22 Claiming to be wise, they became foolish
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for the likeness of the image of a mortal human being, or of birds or animals or reptiles.
24 That is why God abandoned them in the cravings of their hearts to the uncleanness of dishonouring their own bodies among themselves –
25 because they exchanged God’s truth for a lie and reverenced and worshipped the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 That is why God abandoned them to degrading passions:
27 why their women have exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and the men, in a similar fashion, too, giving up natural relations with women, were consumed with passion for one another, men doing shameful things with men and receiving in themselves due reward for their perversion.
28 In other words, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God abandoned them to their unacceptable thoughts and unfitting behaviour.
29 And so now they are steeped in all sorts of injustice, wickedness, greed and malice; full of envy, murder, strife, treachery and spite,
30 libellers, slanderers, enemies of God, rude, arrogant and boastful, enterprising in evil, rebellious to parents,
31 uncomprehending, unreliable, unloving, unmerciful.
32 They recognise God’s ordinance, that those who behave like this deserve to die – yet they not only do it, but even applaud others who do the same.

Bíblia (NT-1Corinthians 10:1-15)

1 I want you to be quite clear, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea.
2 And all were baptised into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
3 All ate the same spiritual food,
4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, since they drank from the spiritual rock which followed them, and the rock was Christ.
5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them, and their corpses were scattered over the desert.
6 Now these things happened as examples, so that we should never set our hearts on evil things, as they did.
7 And do not become idolaters, as some of themc did, as it is written: The people sat down to eat and drink, and got up to amuse themselves.
8 And we must not be sexually immoral, as some of them were and twenty-three thousand fell in one day.
9 And we must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and they were killed by snakes.
10 Do not complain, as some of them complained and they were destroyed by the Destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written down to instruct us on whom the ends of the ages have come.
12 So anyone who thinks to be standing firm should take care not to fall.
13 The trials that have come to you are only human, but God is trustworthy. He will not allow you to be tested beyond your capacity, but with the trial will provide the outcome so that you can bear it.
14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.
15 I am speaking as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I am saying.

Bíblia (NT-1Corinthians 11:18-34)

18 In the first place, I hear that when you come together in the assembly there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it.
19 Indeed it is inevitable that there should be factions among you so that those among you who are to be trusted should stand out.
20 So when you come together it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper,
21 for each of you takes your own supper first, and one is hungry while another is drunk.
22 Do you not have houses for eating and drinking? Or do you despise the Church of God and shame those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? In this I do not praise you.
23 For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to youh is that on the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread,
24 and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.’
25 And in the same way with the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenantj in my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this in remembrance of me.’
26 As often as you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord’s death until he comes,
27 so that anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily is answerable for the body and blood of the Lord.
28 Examine yourself, and only then eat of the bread and drink from the cup.
29 If you eat and drink without recognising the body, you eat and drink judgement to yourself.
30 That is why many of you are weak and ill and a good number have died.
31 But if we were critical of ourselves we would not be judged.
32 But when we are judged by the Lord we are being educated, to save us from being condemned along with the world.
33 So, my brothers and sisters, when you come together for the meal, wait for one another.
34 Someone who is hungry should eat at home, so that coming together does not bring condemnation. The other matters I shall arrange when I come.

Bíblia (NT-1Corinthians 11:32)

32 But when we are judged by the Lord we are being educated, to save us from being condemned along with the world.
