O homem que suporta a tentação é feliz porque receberá uma grande recompensa. Mas ninguém ouse a dizer: “É Deus quem me tenta”, pois Deus é inacessível ao mal e não tenta a ninguém

Blessed is anyone who withstands temptation. Such a person is of proven worth and will receive the prize of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him.
No one being put to the test should say, ‘God is testingg me’; God cannot be tested by evil, and he does not put anybody to the test.
Each person is put to the test by being attracted and seduced by their own wrong desire.
Then the desire conceives and gives birth to sin, and when sin reaches full growth, it gives birth to death.
Do not be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters:
every generous act of giving, every perfect gift is given us from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with him there is no such thing as alteration, no shadow caused by change.
